Description. Ocelots look like mini leopards. They are about the size of a medium sized dog and weigh up to 35kg.
Classification. Ocelots belong to the cat family, They are carnivores. Their scientific name is : Leopardus pardalis.
Location. Ocelots live in Central American countries including Brazil and Mexico. They only live in thick jungle.
Dynamics. Ocelots hunt at night. They eat all sorts of animals including lizards, rats, birds and small monkeys. During the day they rest and sleep high up in the trees.
