  1. Robbie from Mum: this is a good summary, a lot happened on your trip! The Town Hall and Victoria Square are also places I visited since I was little, and the things I remember most are the statue of Queen Victoria, the floral clock, the fountains in front of the town hall, sort of like peacock feathers in water and the town hall buidling, where I went to lots of shows. I even saw the Dalai Lama, you can look him up to find out who he is!!!
But perhaps the most famous is Ice Cream charlie, which was there in Grandad's time too. I took you and Angus there for an icrecream one day when the ice cream truck re-opened after the earthquakes, it's the containers of vanilla ice cream with raspberry sauce, it was a few years ago now, we should go again, and I will definitely take you to the town hall again when there is a good show on.
